To bring greater visibility into the in-store brand experience, Beats by Dre needed a scalable, globally accessible platform. In partnership with MKTG, we developed a custom intelligence tool that integrates with out-of-the-box systems like Salesforce, Tableau, and Booked Out. The result is a seamless ecosystem that gives Beats real-time access to global retail data and insight into the quality of their most valuable asset: the customer experience.

Executives, retail staff, and brand ambassadors around the world rely on this bespoke platform, which includes a web-based admin tool, a mobile input app, and a fully responsive real-time data dashboard.

Beats lacked a unified system to monitor the quality and consistency of its global retail presence. Field data was fragmented, slow to reach decision-makers, and varied in accuracy depending on the region, making it difficult to confidently assess how the brand showed up in-store and how it compared to competitors.

01-Scheduling-ShiftMgmt

In partnership with MKTG, we designed and developed B:PM, a modular, cross-platform data tool built specifically for the Beats retail team and their global brand ambassadors. With just a few taps, team members can view their schedules, conduct store surveys, upload promotional photos, and log customer sentiment in real time. Each interaction feeds into a centralized dashboard that visualizes data across regions, campaigns, and partner stores, turning subjective field insights into measurable, actionable intelligence.

The tool was so effective that MKTG expanded its use, adapting the system for other global clients like Diageo to monitor and optimize brand presence.

B:PM transformed an inconsistent and delayed feedback loop into a streamlined, intuitive reporting system used in over 30 countries. It gave Beats executives the ability to view retail conditions in real time, identify problem areas, and spot merchandising opportunities. The platform helped the brand uphold the premium customer experience that sets Beats apart. From field reps to global marketing leads, the tool equipped every level of the organization with the information they need to protect and evolve the brand at scale.
